🌷Spring has arrived! 🌸 We can't wait for the Spring Real Estate market to kick off and to get our hands dirty in the garden 🌱. To celebrate the start of Spring, here are some exciting 🎉 events taking place in the Truro and Colchester area:

1) March 21, 2023 - Welcome to Spring - Butterflies and Blossoms Celebration - 

Come to the Truro Farmers Market on March 21st between 5 and 7 pm to celebrate spring with the 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴– 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 & 𝗕𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗺𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻!

Featuring butterfly wing photo backdrops, colouring pages, refreshments and more! This event will also feature the brand new Spring Light Show which will be projected in Civic Square.

2) Spring Light Projection Show - March 10, 2023 - April 21, 2023

lluminate the night at a civic square in Downtown Truro with a spectacular spring-themed light show projection. Get ready to be amazed by the magnificent light show Downtown Truro and the Truro & Colchester Chamber of Commerce & Town of Truro have been working on to bring back a light show to celebrate the arrival of Spring. Bring your friends and family and  turn the night into a magical experience!

The Spring Light Show will run every 6 minutes from 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM March-13th until  April 21st.

3) Photos with the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny is Coming to Downtown Truro! 

Capture the magic with a group photo when the Easter Bunny visits the Downtown Truro Partnership office on Saturday, March 25th and Thursday, March 30th. Photos will be sent in digital format via email

Cost: $5 incl. HST per group photo CASH ONLY
Location: Downtown Truro Partnerships Office 670 Prince Street Truro NS

4) Easter Egg Hunt - Located in Victoria Park on Saturday, April 1

The Egg Hunt will take place on 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝘀𝘁, with ticketed time slots starting at 11:00am at each respective location.

Please choose the location closest to your residence and pick up your tickets at the designated office.

Reminder that there are limited tickets available, and they are given out on a first come first serve basis.

5) Village of Bible Hill Egg Hunt - 

Bible Hill Parks & Rec Egg Hunt started Friday, March 10! There will be eggs hidden throughout the Village in parks and trails and participating local businesses!

There are two ways to enter for a chance to win a family themed prize basket. How it works:

In store: 
1. Look for ballot boxes located in Village of Bible Hill businesses
2. Search for the hidden egg near the cash register
3. Find the egg, fill out a ballot and drop it in the ballot box

Parks & Trails:
1. Eggs are hidden in Village of Bible Hill parks & trails
2. Find an egg, take a picture and note location found
3. Bring that information to the Village Office, at 67 Pictou Road
4. Fill out a ballot for each egg you discover and drop it in the ballot box

Draw date for the prize basket is April 3!
